Partnership with Lincoln University College (LUC)
Lincoln Institute of Higher Education (LIHE), Australia, has established a strategic
partnership with Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia, formalised through the signing
of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 20 April 2021.

About the MOU
The MOU outlines a framework for academic collaboration between LIHE and LUC. It
reflects both institutions’ commitment to fostering high-quality, internationalised education
through shared goals and cooperative initiatives. The agreement serves as a foundation for
specific projects to be jointly developed and implemented under mutual consent.

Purpose of the Partnership
The partnership aims to promote excellence in higher education by combining the strengths
and expertise of both institutions. This includes curriculum innovation, student and staff
mobility, and collaborative research and development. The agreement is built on mutual
respect, academic integrity, and long-term educational impact.

What the Collaboration Is For
This collaboration is designed to support:

LUC’s Role
Lincoln University College (Malaysia) plays a key role in facilitating academic expertise,
sharing resources, and supporting the development of quality educational programs. LUC

➢ Supporting professional development and staff secondments;
➢ Assisting in establishing cross-national educational standards and academic models;
➢ Promoting opportunities for research collaboration and academic events.

LIHE’s Role
Lincoln Institute of Higher Education (Australia) leads the delivery of programs within
Australia and ensures compliance with local regulatory frameworks. LIHE contributes by:
➢ Developing infrastructure and operational capabilities for higher education delivery;
➢ Coordinating with local stakeholders, regulators, and educational bodies;
➢ Providing strategic direction, governance, and student services in line with Australian
standards;
➢ Creating a high-quality learning environment for domestic and international students.
